Brenda K. Brawner, 64, of Hopkinsville, died at 1:22 p.m. Friday, November 17, 2017, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a brief illness.


Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Lamb Funeral Home, with Jason Smitty officiating.

Burial will be at Bronaugh Cemetery on the Brawner Farm.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Lamb Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.


A native of Christian County, she was born April 30, 1953 to the late Dudley Roe and Mae Marrie (Gates) Lee.

She was the owner and operator at Dallas Brawner Furniture Store and was a member of Bluff Springs Church of Christ.

Survivors include her husband, Dallas Brawner of Hopkinsville; her son, Jimmy Wayne (Tara) Jones, Taylorsville, KY; her daughters, Misty (Jeff) Green, Hopkinsville, and Christy (Billy) Thomas, Clarksville, Tenn.; her brothers, Jerry (Earlene) Lee, Hopkinsville, and Randy (Mary Evelyn) Lee, Hopkinsville; her sisters, Melinda (David) Perdue, Todd Co., and Janie (Greg) Pryer, Hopkinsville; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

    Sending Prayers to this family during this difficult time. Brenda was always sweet and kind to me whenever we saw each other. I took care of her Mother when I worked at Christian Health Center.
