Nona Myers

Nona Myers, 92, Bay Lane, Cadiz, KY, passed away Friday, March 29, 2024 at Christian Health Center, Hopkinsville, KY of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at Lamb Funeral Home with Chaplain Paul Ganther officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2024 at the funeral home.

A native of Trigg County, KY, she was born November 20, 1931, the daughter of the late Bishop Floyd Lancaster and the late Annie Sadelia (Mize) Lancaster.

Nona worked at the shoe factory and Jennie Stuart Medical Center. She was a member of Locust Grove Baptist Church in Trigg County, KY. She was a lifetime member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Opie Myers; her daughters, Polly Dunn and Anna Myers; her brothers, Floyd Lancaster, Jr. and Arrice Lancaster; her sisters, Thelma Stout, Kitty Outland, and her twin, Nada Heltsley.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Cecil “Doc” Myers, Cadiz, KY; her sons, T.F. Fowler, Hopkinsville, KY, W.C. Junior Fowler, Cadiz, KY; her daughters, Faye Nunn and Beverly McDonald, both of Hopkinsville, KY; 13 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
