Genell Cole Hall, 94, Charter Senior Living, Hopkinsville, KY passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 64 years, Bill N. Hall; her parents Bill and Susan Mays Cole of Heidrick, KY; her three brothers, Ledford Cole and his wife Genople, of Independence, KY, Harold Cole and his wife, Kathleen, of Somerset, KY, and Don Cole and his wife, Charlotte, of London, KY; and her two nephews, Hal Cole, of Somerset, KY and Barry Cole, of Independence, KY.
Genell is survived by three nieces, Donna Schott, Judy Kim Hall, and Lisa Tuttle and her husband, John, all of London, KY; two nephews, Todd Cole and his wife, Betty, of Walton, KY and Randy Cole and his wife, Cara, of Monticello, KY. She is also survived by her great, great-great, and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Plus a host of family, friends, and neighbors left to mourn her passing.
A native of Knox County, KY, she and Bill moved to Hopkinsville in the early 60’s. She retired from Duraco Products as a customer service and marketing representative. Genell was a long time member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Though she had no children of her own, she had a Mother’s heart, and her family was her children. She was a kind, loving, classy lady who will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
A graveside service for Genell Cole Hall will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 8, 2024 at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West, Hopkinsville, KY, with Todd Cole and Donna Schott officiating. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.
