Charles “Neighbor” G. Gamble

Charles G. “Neighbor” Gamble, 80, Crofton-Dawson Road, Crofton, KY, passed away Monday, October 23, 2023 at his home of natural causes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 27, 2023 at Lamb Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Phaup officiating. Burial will follow in Cansler Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 26, 2023 at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, KY, he was born June 28, 1943, the son of the late Elgie Gamble and the late Louise (Adams) Gamble.

Charles was a farmer and a member of New Good Hope Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Barry Gamble; his brother, Dwayne Gamble; and his sister, Betty Jean Gamble.

Survivors include his son, Charles Randall (Dianne) Gamble, Christian County, KY; his daughter, Tammie Loftus, Christian County, KY; his grandchildren, Brittany Darden, Shelby Tyler, and Ashley Johnson; 7 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
